About Me

Inspired by my father, who practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology, I decided to follow the path of medicine. Witnessing his dedication firsthand had a profound impact on my life. Initially drawn to Electrical Engineering due to my love of math and science, I ultimately pursued medicine, graduating from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1995. My residency in Internal Medicine was completed in 1998, and I’m a proud Board-certified Internist dedicated to private practice since then.

My focus on Internal Medicine stems from a deep desire to help patients prevent illness. As a primary care specialist, I believe in the power of education and proactive care to promote long, happy, and healthy lives.

Outside of medicine, you’ll find me boating, fishing, exercising, or spending quality time with my family.

Dr Lopez has been in charge of my health, as well as my husband's for 10+ years. He is absolutely great, easy character, always calls you personally to let you know what is up with your lab, what plan to work on till the next check up, etc. Hi assistant Cindy is probably one of the best assistants I have ever had to deal with. Polite, very knowledgeable, quick to get you taken care of, follows thru...Basically this is an EXCELLENT doctor and it is reflected down to all his staff.

I have been a patient with Dr. Lopez for 2-3 years. When you make an appointment the Dr. will see you within 10 minutes or sooner from your appointment time. The Dr. takes the time to listen and then makes his decision on a treatment plan. His assistant Cindy is excellent. I highly recommend this physician.
